Once again I am joining my friends for a long cycle ride this year. In 2011 we went from Newcastle to Edinburgh; in 2012 we went coast to coast from Carlisle to Newcastle. This year's route takes us from Morecambe on the west coast to Bridlington on the east.
The route we are taking is based on the ""Way of the Roses", and covers about 165 miles over four days. The last day is the longest leg, but not necessarily the hardest, as the others involve a lot more hills.
